ESSENTIAL SEWING COURSE

The Essential sewing course is a fun and interactive class where we teach the absolute basics of sewing.

This course teaches how to use a machine and be proficient in cutting out patterns, reading patterns and sewing items.

We concentrate on the essentials of sewing during this course.

Everything that is needed to know about sewing and how to start a business with a domestic sewing machine is dealt with through this training.

After this class the learners will be able to use a sewing machine effectively and troubleshoot problems with their sewing machine. Having a full understanding of the technical details required sew without any hiccups is essential to the enjoyment of sewing.

Our aim for this training is to inspire learners to see the full potential of what can be done with a sewing machine and how easy it is to learn to make anything with just some sewing trick and some fabric.

After completing this course the learners will be able start a basic sewing business.

We are not focusing on dress making but rather accessories and bags that can be sewn with small donated fabrics and products available as waste. This will help to reduce the cost of them being able to get a business off the ground.

We focus on the skill that most basic products require namely fastening devices such as zips or buttons, but could include Velcro or elastic.
